We rehome dogs, cats, puppies & kittens that have been rescued. They go to Foster homes where they are loved, trained & socialised before being adopted.
Our Team
All the Shire Rangers in Broome volunteer their time in caring for and saving these guys as they are too beautiful to euthanase. All the people who work for safe and the carer's volunteer their time for the love of animals.
Our Pets
Most of our pets are rehomed to Perth, some locally and some interstate. As we have great deal with freight, it is cheaper to adopt a pet from SAFE that has been vaccinated, vet checked, wormed and desexed (from six months of age) than to buy a puppy from a pet shop.
Most of our older pets have had training with their previous owners, unfortunately with Christmas coming alot of animals are dumped, which means we need to find carer's and adoptive homes urgently. Although Broome is a paradise for humans, it's not so for our furry friends.
Most of our pets are cross breeds we even have a particular breed known as the "Broome Special" or "Broomese Terrier"!! If you are interested in adopting or becoming a carer please contact us and don't forget to check out out pet listings.
